About me

My name is Lisa Prummel, a veterinarian with a passion for animals and a heart for the world. In 2018, I graduated from Ghent University, after which I immediately packed my bags for a year of volunteer work as a vet. An experience that shaped me forever.

Upon returning to Europe, I spent several years working in primary care clinics, but my curiosity kept driving me further. To pursue my passion for veterinary ophthalmology, I moved to Rome, where I spent a year working alongside an accredited ophthalmology specialist. It was a period I will never forget, both professionally and personally.

After that, I found my home at one of the coziest veterinary clinics in Amsterdam, right in the heart of the Jordaan. The clinic’s clientele consisted largely of expats, which taught me everything there is to know about pet travel regulations to the most diverse countries. At the same time, I began to dive deeper into animal nutrition, a subject that received far too little attention during my university studies, but proves indispensable in daily practice.

This year, I am taking a big and beautiful new step: I am moving to Argentina for love. However, I am definitely not leaving my passion for veterinary medicine behind. Through this website, I look forward to supporting you with advice on nutrition, travel, and medical questions.

That being said, I want to emphasize that an online consultation can never replace a physical examination by a local veterinarian. Yet, sometimes a second opinion, a reassuring answer, or an in-depth conversation about a case can be incredibly valuable, even from a distance. And that is exactly what I am here to help you with.
